Assign Higher Residential Priority For Food Bank Deliveries
Have You Been Prioritized Lately?

The Food Bank delivers to organizations all over the city, including residential hotels and food pantry. The highest priority and the first choice of food items go to St Anthonys, Glide, Project Open-Hand and others. When representatives from SROs arrive, they get what is left, which usually is the decaying, the unpalatable, the stuff that nobody wants. It is necessary for the Food Bank to alter its priorities so that residential customers get a fairer choice. Hence, the food always goes to predetermined sections of our community.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
