Green Connections will make it easier to bike and walk to parks by re-envisioning City streets as "Green Connections." What improvements do you think are needed to turn a street into a Green Connection? How can we make it easier and safer to walk or bike to parks? Maybe adding a bright green bike lane, public art, thriving greenery, or wider sidewalks? What improvements do you think are needed to turn a street into a Green Connection? You can participate in two ways: 1. Submit an idea. The Planning Department has some ideas for what to implement on green routes, but we want to hear YOUR ideas too! Submit an idea and show us images, references, and anything that will strengthen your idea. 2. Like and comment on submitted ideas. For those who don’t submit but still want to contribute, you can help to shape ideas submitted by others by "liking" the idea or offering constructive praise and critique of the idea. About Green Connections: Green Connections is a two-year community based planning process led by the San Francisco Planning Department. The project builds on current efforts to create sustainable corridors that enhance pedestrian and bicycle conditions, reduce stormwater runoff, improve wildlife habitat and green neighborhood streets.
