Create community cooperative kitchens so that residents without a place to cook healthy meals will have access to a real kitchen, and by pooling resources and sharing the efforts of cooking meals as a community, residents can share the responsibilities of cooking and cleaning. Solicit donations from the famers' market vendors and grocery stores to provide reduced cost or donated ingredients. Volunteers and local chefs can provide cooking classes and workshops to help encourage residents to cook healthier meals.
