Excess sugar in your diet leads to a lot of health problems, particularly in later life. Sugar addiction makes you add weight, and causes heart disease, digestive problems, cirrhosis and diabetes. Sugar is a killer. But, bread, ice cream, junk foods, some fruits, corn syrup, pasta and many other commonly accepted foods are full of it, and it will all be absorbed by the body, if you exceed a minimum sugar intake for your body.
