Fight Sugar Addiction
Reduce Sugar Intake In Your Diet

Excess sugar in your diet leads to a lot of health problems, particularly in later life. Sugar addiction makes you add weight, and causes heart disease, digestive problems, cirrhosis and diabetes. Sugar is a killer. But, bread, ice cream, junk foods, some fruits, corn syrup, pasta and many other commonly accepted foods are full of it, and it will all be absorbed by the body, if you exceed a minimum sugar intake for your body. Sugar addiction is the precursor of alcohol addiction, and, even if you have given up pure sugar (sucrose), your body will try to replace the desire with substitutes that may be equally damaging eg sweeteners. Use nutritional cues to fight the issues in the Tenderloin. Fight sugar addiction. Create a campaign to get people to change.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
