In New York City there is a street vendor on pretty much every block of the city. You can obtain any kind of food you want made fresh on a regular basis. SF should grant permits and streamline the application and licensing process for street vendors. They should offer assistance for completing the process so vendors can hit the streets as soon as possible. Vendors should be offered incentives for working streets in high need areas like Tenderloin. They should also be required to offer fruits or other healthy options along with the other fare for sale.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
