Mobile Outdoor Kitchen at Heart of the City Farmers Market
not the design I'm imagining but...

Imagine if the already wonderful Heart of the City Farmers Market also had outdoor wash stations, prep tables, grills, burners, a wood fired oven, and some kitchen basics (bowls, utensils, seasonings, oils, towels, etc.)

I'm wondering what existing grants through various City agencies might sponsor a group to do this. Anyway, it could be open to everyone at no cost as long as they sign-up to be members and agree to the kitchen rules. People could bring food from outside the market to prepare and should be encouraged to bring their own containers, towels, utensils, and other kitchen basics.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
