It seems like food drives only ever happen around Thanksgiving and Christmas. SF should set up food donation bins around the city to make it easier to donate staples. There should also be monthly competitions set up to see who can collect the most food or donations or maybe a prize system for collecting various levels of food/donations (prize level systems are used in fundraising for runs/walks; fundraisers receive different prizes for collecting different levels of donations).
