Open Government And A Plan
You Know It When It Makes Sense

What this community becomes depends on how owners of land, buildings and businesses interact with new development proposals from businesses and real estate developers. These proposals tend to come in randomly, and are often pursued "behind closed doors". Residents and stakeholders should be considered in a positive way by the Developers, and there ought to be as much Open Government and Project Visibility given to the Comminity, as is practical or appropriate. Amid the randomness of Development Proposals, there needs to be a Master Plan and Goals, that the Community is involved in, so that they can render their opinions. Central Market has been a lawless place, a kind of "wild west" because there is nobody in charge who really cares. the owners and City Hall seem to be willing to accept any development proposal.
