Shop-a-Round is a grocery shuttle service for seniors and persons with disabilities. It is free through at least August 15, 2012, then $2 for shopping vans. Alternatively, eligible participants can pay $10 per month and will be issued a taxi debit card worth $60 for trips to grocery stores (only). Van drivers will help carry up to 3 bags to user's front door.
This is a MUNI program. Just call Roxana Lara 351-7094. There is no limit to number of trips. Vans operate on prearranged schedules. For taxis, after debit card is activated, any SF Taxis can be called at any time for as many trips as desired up to the $60 per month card value.
