The Power Of The Network

Develop social networks based on food which provide databases of nutrition facts, availability of food products from local farmers versus traditional supermarkets, restaurant food issues and healthy options and trade-offs. People like to talk about food, themselves, their likes and dislikes and their unusual experiences. Help to establish food groups locally so that people can come together in community centers, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. To follow a diet, it helps if you don't do it alone. If you can trust somebody, you can share. Often, the people you know and who know you well are the wrong people to share things with. a thought expressed is a passage to the next step. A thought expressed moves you on.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
