“Cultivating a rootsystem of food-centric resources”

Mission Statement:
Tender ROOTS grows, strengthens, and cultivates awareness of the existing Tenderloin food shed through physical and digital information sharing.

1. IDENTIFY existing food resources with the iconic Tender ROOTS sticker on storefronts, windows, and doors

2. SOW participating food resources by sharing events through a paper map and a website updated with real-time data

3. TEND: distribute the maps and website to social services agencies and existing food resources

4. HARVEST: celebrate and proliferate existing workshops and food events
