Water Filters to the SROs

Monthly drinking water expenses are about 40.00 per month for bottled water. Why not provide people who are being placed in the SROs with water filters so they can use their taps for water instead of having to spend money on it in stores? The tenant can replace their own filters and since that only needs to happen a few times a year, the cost is cheaper.

Hetch Hetchy provides SF with great water but the pipes in most SROs are old and may contain contaminants.

A huge part of healthy living is staying hydrated with plenty of water and this is one way people on food stamps can keep from having to spend so much on it.
