Scrap is an edgy creative reuse center in Bayview Hunter's Point that is getting great buzz (i.e. space at the Academy of Science's Nightlife to put on craft events).

They divert waste and provide materials to artists, helping SF become more sustainable and more ARTful.

I've personally used it for decorating for parties, making a corkboard, and getting great cheap greeting cards.
