A good shot of the Transamerica building looming in the background. A nice contrast with the calm park. (not my photo)

This place is great. I've worked near here for years, and it's the best place in the area to take a long lunch on a nice day. The grass can be a little wet sometimes, but bring a little brown paper bag to sit on and you're all good.

There are some cool sculptures (my favorites are of a couple little chow chows and an old man sitting on a bench).

There have also been a lot of food trucks in the area lately, perfect for eating in the park.

It is a great place to read, as well. It is always very quiet.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
