More skyways, less cars in parks
Skyway from Forest Knolls to Midtown Terr. across Clarendon

I already commented a couple of times before but I think these are very important: (1) More skyways (ped. overpasses) crossing busy streets, esp. those with confusing traffic lights and esp. those near major parks like Ft. Funston. (2) Cut down on car traffic in major parks. Make 'em go slower. If you can't ban cars from parks, as in the Presidio, where people live, then the above walkers' skyways especially apply. Cars do not always want to slow down. An example of an excellent (but more needed around here) skyway that takes you across busy Clarendon to Midtown Terrace from foot of Ashwood steps in Forest Knolls.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
