San Franciscans are amazing in their commitment to helping their city - and we each do so in our own way. What's missing, though, is a single place for us to look for volunteer opportunities in the city. Whether painting over graffiti, helping out at a homeless shelter, cleaning a park, or even donating our time to help figure out an accounting problem - why are there so many different places to volunteer?

How about the City of SF create a volunteer portal that allows us to donate our time - either in person or even online? This could be a powerful way to mobilize our neighborhoods and a single place to look when we have a little spare time.
