These cars are a total nuisance and unlike the cable cars, have no historical significance (Most of them are from other cities!). They congest traffic and are a waste of money given there is the faster underground muni line right below it. In a time when we can't even afford to maintain the real public transport infrastructure we have, it seems obvious to me that "cutesy" transport options that are totally redundant and increase traffic ought to get the axe.
