On my walks through BVHP I often stop and talk to business owners and neighbors. I am constantly impressed with their creativity and drive. One of my neighbors is Tony Hurd, who is a dry waller by trade. He has one of the most interesting spaces in Apparell City, an industrial area right off of Industrial and Oakdale.
Out of an ordinary bland and boring space he has installed some of the most interesting gardens and "container" spaces. I've attached a video. Tony feels that all his work should come from the area - Scrap, Builder's Resource. It should all be recycled and 'green'.
His plants are mostly native or plants that don't require much watering. He's definitely one of the most creative business men in BVHP!
