When I think about the city, I think about the fog. I think about the gray. On this side of the outer Richmond District, this kind of weather is almost a daily reoccurring theme.

In the distance, is the under-rated icon that is the Sutro Tower. Being the landmark that the majority of the city residents can see from their homes, this futuristic overlord towers over us city peasants, giving us good tv/radio reception as it see fits.

With the fog setting the atmosphere, combined with the mysterious colossus brooding in the distance, how can such a story not embrace our San Francisco library card?

Brief Image Breakdown: Abstract circles are to represent fog/clouds. Lots of gray leads the viewer's eye onto the bright red tower. The blue oblong shapes are not only an abstract representation of the city's geography, but can also be seen as an opened book. The ocean can also be seen if you look hard enough. Lastly, the words, "San Francisco Public Library" is faded in the the gray skies.
