I'm not a big illustrator but this is my attempt to bring a comic book feel to our library cards. My original artwork. Hopefully my design inspires kids to visit the library and stirs a sense of childhood nostalgia within teens and adults (and if you still read comics today, you're cool). I chose a nontraditional color palette to captivate the eye and to keep the card gender-neutral. Not only does reading make you book-smart, but visiting SFPL for movies, magazines, music or just to chill is smart in general because you're saving a lot of money.
