Develop a community training center offering hands on classes and employment opportunities in repair, making products from discarded fabric (pet beds, rag rugs, sand bags, insulation, absorbents for oil); make useful items from old wood. Offer repair workshops: lamps, electrical items, wood working etc. Centers will be located at the NEW Hunter's Pt. Shipyard, Candlestick Park and Treasure Island. Provide space for local, light manufacturing businesses.

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
