The idea is to allow the community to interact by learning and creating together. Open to everybody or specifically offered to children/young adults to develop their confidence in their creative skills, the event could bring together more experimented individuals (for instance retired individuals) that would teach how to embroider, sew, repair, paint, ect on textile.

The advantages are the following:
- Direct interaction between young and less young people possible (better understanding of the gap between age groups),
- Direct interaction between individuals of different income groups
- Sharing knowledge,
- Bolstering creativity,
- Learning practical and usefull skills,
- Learning group rules, respect, sharing,
- Having new creations to take home (birthday gift?),

And why not trying to advertise this weekly community event by displaying some pieces of textile in the city with nice, attractive and colorful mesages ?!

Lets be social and creative ! :)
