Screens that showcase the power of data to better connect folks. For example, something like TransitScreen in a large format iPhone-like wall screen, so people can see all the various options they have to get around town.

Or a hyper local twitter filter to gauge sentiment/thoughts within the Downtown area (example: http://www.fastcoexist.com/welcome.html?destination=http://www.fastcoexist.com/3017494/a-hyperlocal-twitter-filter-that-gets-neighbors-talking-to-each-other)

Or a sort of cross section (akin to an infographic you'd see in a newspaper article) but embedded in the pavement to create the perception of having x-ray vision to see below and to all the various utilities that run under City streets (in collaboration with SFPUC, DT, and PG&E).

Or a air quality monitor that compares current air quality in other large cities at the same time (maybe sponsored by BAAQMD)

This project is made possible by the City and County of San Francisco, SPUR, the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services and the Department of Technology
